And... I loved every minute of it. This show is bizarre and fantastic!

It was everything. Gwen with Rhys (so agonizingly heart-wrenching); the fighting and fallout amongst the members of the Torchwood team; Jack's sacrifice; Gwen not giving up on Jack; Ianto and Jack; Owen and Jack...

There are a LOT of anti-Gwen ppl in the fandom - to the point of character-bashing hatred. I understand not liking a character, but some ppl just go too far. I like her personally, I love that she's flawed and completely human.

I was browsing through my f-page and saw this and read the first line and burst into tears at the thought that I'm such a horrible person that I made a sensible, strong woman like you cry. Now that I'm a bit calmer, I can't decide whether I want to smack you for worrying me so much or tackle you for loving Torchwood.

If you thought you cried a lot over "End of Days", wait until the fifth to eighth episodes of season two. You will either not care, find a new appreciation for a character, or sob hysterically for a few hours. I'm guessing it'll be that last one, since I'm going to go out on a limb here and assume that you like the character that reminds me of a slightly less dorky Jack Hodgins. :P

Also, I apologize for, you know, telling you to watch good TV.

I have now watched the episodes I believe you were speaking of, and yes, I cried yet again. (And I assume you are comparing Owen Harper to Jack Hodgins, yes?) Crying, I tell you. My heart... this show... *muffled sob* I love the whole team. Each character is a true individual, don't you think? They each bring something different to the team. I find them all fascinating.

And fun. I mean... Ianto and Jack... rowr. *ahem* Heee. What was I saying?

Well, I'm still working my way through all the seasons of the new Doctor Who, and now Torchwood, but yes, Will, I guess you could say I have been completely charmed by British TV. Sucked in. Heee.

Yay!! =D =D =D

I'm slowly working my way through Season 2 of Torchwood and already I don't want it to end. When does the new season start? - Unfortunately I'm fairly certain S3 doesn't air over here until April and then when it does it's only going to be 5 episodes long, all of which are gonna be shown throughout one week, Monday to Friday!! *sulks*. That's so unfair don't you think?? So, how far have you got now? considering it's take me like a life time to reply to this comment I'm guessing you've probably finished S2 by now right?!

Hmmm ok lets see my specific loves of TW. Well I totally ADORE Gwen, seriously second girlcrush next to Angela (of course) lol. As for ships I'm definitely with the Gwen/Owen shippers and really wish it had been so much more than it actually was! She can do so much better than Rhys! But then there's also a part of me that loves the idea and chemistry between Jack/Gwen that whole will they/won't they thing is infective lol. Episode wise I adore the first episode of S1, I'm usually not a fan of 'Pilot' episodes cause they're usually such a hit and miss kinda thing but I just adore the very first episode of TW, and Countrycide (the one with the freaky cannibals) has got to be my favourite episode of ALL TIME!! As for S2 there are just so many! Although off the top of my head the two with James Marsters in are definitely high on my list of faves lol, not to mention any where Gwen and Owen are especially awesome.

So you managed to compose a list of your faves yet?
