Oh, cool post, Sherry. I'll have to do something similar. I think it would be fun, and it might also please my cousin Diane, who, when I did a from-childhood Thanksgiving post a few years back and mentioned my grandmother's ceramic Miss Muffet high on a display shelf, actually sent me Miss Muffet, which I didn't realize she'd ended up with because she'd really enjoyed the reminiscence of all off us so young and wide-eyed. I didn't even realize she'd be reading my post.
I have to say that your current Christmas-season solitude seems to fit in very well with what goes on The Night Before--not an empty feeling, but moments that bring those small touches of kindness we look back and later and find very significant. Hope you enjoy it.
