An update:
Slept for about 10 hours last night. Wow. I must have needed it!
Happy to report that I do not seem to be sick today. The aches from yesterday are gone. Perhaps that means I've avoided whatever it was, and if I continue to be smart about taking care of myself, I'll be able to keep it at bay and be free of it altogether without it ever really becoming an actual illness.
