Gorgeous morning.

I have a hundred things on my 'to do' list for this weekend and this upcoming week, but it's the first day of pure sunshine and warm temperatures; I just couldn't resist it.

For weeks we've had rain and cold, ranging from the 20's to the 50's, maybe creeping into the 60's to give us a little hint of spring, only for Mother Nature to snatch it back from us like the tempting vixen she is.

But today -- and this goes to show you how Illinois weather is unable to smoothly transition from cold to warm -- our temps jumped up to the 80's! Just like that. (And tomorrow it's supposed to drop back down to the 50's and 60's. Schizophrenic, that's our weather!)

Anyway, today has been amazing. I had resigned myself to spending the entire weekend indoors, what with four scripts to read and comment upon for my screenwriting class, a script of my own to work on, a freelance website to complete, a project to start for my computer class, a checkbook to balance, laundry to do... *pant pant pant* Not enough time in the day.

But -- but --

Heavenly breeze, sunshine, and pale blue skies!

I had to take time to go for a walk and soak it up. The weather was too warm and beautiful and inviting to ignore.

Good thing I took advantage while I did, because now the sky is turning white, and the breeze is whipping itself into a wild wind. I think a storm is coming.

How is it where you are, fine friends?

It was warm here today too. It's Autumn here, and I'd been wearing Autumny clothes all last week, but it started warming up yesterday and today it was warm enough to wear a singlet-style top. I'm not ready for winter, so I'm hoping this weather sticks around at least until the end of April!

I hope you managed to get through all you needed to do! Warm weather can be so damn distracting!

So glad you had such nice weather today! We had two days of relative sunshine Friday and Saturday, and the today it was overcast but didn't rain, so Ben and I have been able to make a good dent in the yardwork--yay. And I did the first mowing of the season yesterday, which left the backyard looking very nice. Well, as long as you don't look around the edges where there's so much more to be done. :-)

I have days like that too, where I just can't resist taking advantage of nice weather. (Granted, I'm a spoiled San Diegan, but even so, days that lure me outside are rare, lol. [/hermit])

How have you been? I've missed talking with you!

How are you doing? I've been wondering how the job was going and how you were. You sound happy and busy :)
