HOLY MOTHER OF WHAT THE HELL!?!?!

It's been trying to rain for a little while this late evening, and all of a sudden the sky just split open with the loudest, longest crack-n-rumble of thunder I've heard in a long while. It made me jump and clap my hands over my ears, I was so not expecting that!

And then I curled up into some weird back-to-my-childhood protective pose with my hands tucked under my chin, and I said, "EEEEEEE!"

Yikes. That was a little scary. I want my mommy.

I am such a big baby.

Seriously, I'm surprised we haven't lost power. The storm is really disturbing right now.

There was a huge thunderstorm here in Northern California a couple of days ago. Lightning and thunder is a rarity, so this was really something. They don't bother me as much as they did when I was a kid and would hide in a corner, lol! My cat freaked out and hid under the bed though. It also started a incredible downpour, lots of power outtages all over the Bay Area, etc.

Hope you're okay! I always keep reminding myself that if I hear the thunder, the worst part is over already cuz the lightning's oassed.
