"Sleep, sleep, I couldn't go to sleep..."
Mar. 9th, 2015 01:08 amDamn you, Daylight Saving Time!
I lose an hour, yet find myself annoyingly wide awake at 1 AM tonight. I want to go to sleeeeeeeeep but I'm not tired.
Stupid time change. *grumble grumble*

Date: 2015-03-09 09:59 pm (UTC)Though I will say that I don't mind the "gaining an hour" as much as I hate "losing an hour." The latter always feels so brutal.

Date: 2015-03-09 10:14 pm (UTC)IT'S JUST SO DUMB. And I've always resented that we all assume it has something to do with farmers, since my mother comes from a family of them in Ohio, so I've always known it wasn't their fault, lol.
I'm good! Pretty sore from yesterday (but in the good way, lol), and I'm about to post about what I've been up to the past couple weeks, after I get some food in me, so that will catch everyone up. I'm hanging in there! You?

Date: 2015-03-10 08:30 pm (UTC)Daylight begins to return and I have a short time of grace when I start waking up before the alarm goes off and mornings are a time to get ready and gather strength for the day. Then this f***ing daylight savings time happens and it's a struggle to get out of bed again :(
Seriously thinking about boycotting it all... A colleague told me an uncle Ed of his used to. Seriously, it's like being jet lagged. There's stats that shows accidents, even lethal ones, increase because of the saving daylights in Spring.
