Did I mention I'm having a shitty day?

And now my flash drive seems to have destroyed itself. What was working just fine earlier today on my computer now cannot be read on ANY computer. It's only my flash drive, not my whole computer, thank goodness. Still, all my online research for my current (final) class project, stuff that took me days to read and sort through, is gone.

Cover your eyes if you don't want to see me swear...

Son of a f***ing bitch flash drive!

That thing has given me nothing but trouble since I bought it. I am furious.

And I think I'm done with this day. No more homework, no more projects, no more anything. I'm logging off and going to watch funny DVDs until my brain dissolves all the rage from my body.

Tomorrow I'll start again.

That makes me want to cry out of frustration. I had a floppy try to self destruct once and all my files ended up corrupt. I took it to the IT guys at the Uni and they somehow managed to salvage most my files for me. Not sure if it's possible in this case, but could be worth a shot?

I'm just now catching up on the flist, and GAH! No! More bad things, not allowed! :(

I really hope somehow it can be salvaged, but if not, I think you're making the right choice either way to just shut down and take a break for the night. Cheer yourself up however you have to. I think we all have bad days that you just sort of have to... throw in the towel on and leave it for another. *hugs again*

Can you call the flash drive company? They might be able to have you send it to them and they can retrieve the info? Or they could tell you where to go. It sucks you lost all of that. Really does. *hugs*
