I like to work into the late hours. It's quiet, there are no interruptions, and I can focus (so long as I can stay awake).

In the past few weeks I've been working on creating a portfolio website to present some of the work I've done in my classes and as a budding freelance web designer. I've noticed many job listings ask to see your work, either on a CD/DVD or via an online link, so I thought it would be beneficial to use my time off before school starts next week, getting as much done as I can in developing a website design for this portfolio.

Not tonight.

The wind is whipping into a freaky frenzy out there, the lights have flickered a few times, and it is fricking COLD. The last thing I need is to be in the middle of an idea in Photoshop and have the power go out and destroy all my hard work. I am not going to chance it.

I'm going to bed.

We're thankfully a lot cooler than Friday ;) Sydney had it's hottest day on record - 45.8C (114.4F)!

It's been colder than normal here on the West Coast, but nothing compared to other places in the country. Winter is still my favorite season though; I keep better in the cold.

Photoshop, that is one tough program to learn. My hat's off to you! :)

It's been only reasonably cold in our parts, but very snowy; for some reason, that's made the internets flicker.
