sinkwriterSPOILERS FOR AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR - PROCEED WITH CAUTION.
My mind is still swirling from seeing The Avengers: Infinity War. I'm too jumbled to be coherent right now, but what I will say is, I don't believe all those characters are dead, the ones that disappeared. I think Dr. Strange did something to affect what happened.
He was the only one who knew what it would take to defeat Thanos; he told Tony Stark that he saw the millions of pathways and options and outcomes, and he said there was only one way to defeat him... so I think he gave up the Time stone because that was part of whatever action was needed to put them all on the right path to defeating Thanos. He told Tony it was the only way.
And that's why I think that Strange knows something or he did something, and he saved Tony because Tony is going to be instrumental in bringing all those people back from wherever they went. I do believe they're alive, possibly in some weird dimensional place, and he'll get them back. Him, and maybe Bruce Banner? Because if memory serves, Banner didn't disappear, right?
So between the two of them, science bros that they are, they've got to find a way. So I'm not going to freak out or be sad. (Yet.) I feel like I'm reeling a bit, but I'm not destroyed. I feel like there's a solution and we'll see it eventually. (Man, do I ever hope so.)
I just wish we didn't have to wait another year or two for Marvel to FUCKING FIX THIS.
